Beaches Pet Guide is an independent directory for people looking for pet care on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

What a listing means

We research public provider websites and record a business name, location or stated service area, service categories and a direct link. The expanded edition was researched on 6 November 2026. We reopened the original listings and checked additional providers against their own service and location information, excluded duplicate/rebranded entries, and retained known service restrictions. A working website does not prove current availability, business registration, insurance, qualifications or care quality.

What we leave to the provider

Bookings, prices, opening hours, detailed service descriptions, telephone numbers and email addresses belong on the provider’s own website. We do not reproduce provider marketing text, photographs or logos. Our guides and illustrations are created for this directory.

How results are ordered

Listings are currently displayed alphabetically. We don’t currently accept payment for placement or rank providers as the best. A provider may appear in more than one category, and some brands have multiple locations. Check the provider’s website to confirm services and coverage in your area.

If paid placements are introduced, they will be clearly labelled. Category counts overlap and are not counts of independently owned companies. Area filters group stated bases or service ranges rather than certifying travel coverage.

Independent, not affiliated

We are not a veterinary practice, care provider, booking agent or part of Northern Beaches Council. Listed businesses and cited organisations have not endorsed this directory. Names are used to identify the linked businesses, not to suggest a partnership.

Coverage and corrections

This is a researched starting point, not a complete census. Standalone grooming coverage remains thinner at the far northern end of the peninsula. Dedicated small-pet boarding options are limited, so check the animal species accepted directly. Primary pages that could not be read, out-of-area businesses and providers not yet open were left out. Business services and websites change. If a detail appears wrong, rely on the provider’s current information. A public submission and corrections channel is not available; listings can be updated by the site owner.

No substitute for direct checks

Ask about suitability, qualifications, insurance, costs and the terms of care yourself. If your pet is ill or injured, contact a veterinarian directly. This site is not monitored for emergencies.
